Stable Cottage is near the village of Llwyndafydd in Carmarthenshire. It's a semi-detached cottage, part of a small groups of cottages on a shared site.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it's handy for families or a couple of couples sharing. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and has its own bathroom, which is useful if anyone doesn't want to manage stairs. The stairs themselves are fine, they're modern.
The lounge has a wood-burning stove and doors that open onto a private patio facing west. There's a barbecue out there. The view is over farmland, it's quiet.
As part of the site, you get to use the shared grounds. There's a heated outdoor pool open seasonally, a tennis court, and some walking trails with picnic benches. The site is well-kept, it's won some awards for that.
The nearest proper beach is about two miles away. New Quay is a ten minute drive, maybe fifteen. It's a proper little harbour town with pubs and places to eat. They do boat trips from there to see dolphins in Cardigan Bay. Llangrannog is also about fifteen minutes away, that's a good beach for families.
For walking, the Ceredigion Coastal Path is right there. Inland, you're not far from the Cambrian Mountains. If you want a big day out, Snowdonia is under an hour and a half's drive.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding is included. There's parking right by the cottage. The cottage is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and the ground floor bedroom has an en-suite, but check with us for specific needs as it's not fully adapted. No pets, sorry.
