Cei Newydd

Cei Newydd is near Nanternis, just outside New Quay. It’s one of three cottages here, all quite close together. The main thing is you’re only about a mile from the coast path.

The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. Everything’s on the ground floor and it’s wheelchair accessible. The doorways are wide and there are no steps. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s very well equipped and comfortable.

The layout is open-plan. Kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area with a wood burner. Doors lead out to a deck and then a patio with a lawned garden. It’s enclosed, so it's safe for kids. You get the garden to yourselves.

Parking is on site. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and towels are included.

The beach at Cwmtydu is a mile away. It’s a pebble cove owned by the National Trust. You often see seals there. The Ceredigion Coast Path runs past it, so you can walk from the door.

New Quay is about four miles away. That’s where you go for boat trips to see dolphins, or for pubs and restaurants. Llangrannog is another good beach village in the other direction, maybe a ten minute drive.

Aberaeron is further north, maybe fifteen miles. It’s a nice little harbour town with coloured houses.

A useful link if you’re planning walks or days out is the Visit Ceredigion site.
