Cei Newydd
Cei Newydd is in Nanternis, just outside New Quay. It’s a ground-floor cottage, all on one level. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sleeps four. It’s got a five-star rating, which basically means it’s been done to a high standard and is very clean.
The place was renovated throughout. It’s open plan, with the kitchen and living area together. There’s a wood burner for cooler nights. Doors lead straight out from the kitchen to a deck and an enclosed lawn.
It’s quiet here. You can walk straight out onto lanes and footpaths. Some lead to the Ceredigion Coast Path, others go through woodland. The National Trust cove at Cwmtydu is about a mile away. It's a pebble beach, and you can sometimes see seal pups in autumn.
New Quay is about four miles down the coast. That’s where you go for boat trips to see dolphins. The town has pubs, restaurants, and a Dylan Thomas trail. Llangrannog is closer, with a nice beach, a couple of pubs and cafes.
Aberaeron is ten miles north. It’s a Georgian harbour town with coloured houses along the quay.
For facilities: there’s parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and bedding and towels are included. It’s wheelchair accessible. There’s a cot and highchair if needed. No pets.
