Montrose is my place in New Quay. It's a terraced house you can walk to the harbour from, takes about twenty minutes. It's a bit of a hill, but you get used to it.
The house sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and has what you need. You can bring one dog.
The view from the back bedrooms is over the rooftops to the sea. There's a small enclosed courtyard out the back. From there, you can walk straight through the holiday park footpath down to Traeth Gwyn beach. That beach is dog friendly all year.
New Quay itself has the lot: pubs, cafes, shops, restaurants. The harbour is great for just sitting and watching the boats. If you're lucky you'll see the dolphins. Boat trips go out in season to see them.
For a day out, Aberaeron is about a fifteen minute drive up the coast. It's a nice little Georgian harbour town. Aberystwyth is further, about twenty miles. It's a bigger town with a long promenade and a pier. Inland, there's Cors Caron, which is a nature reserve on a raised bog. They've got a boardwalk you can walk on. It's about a half hour drive.
In the house, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them, and a stairgate at the top.
