Montrose

Montrose is a terraced house in New Quay. It's stone built, about 150 years old. It's part of a row, next to our own house. You can walk to the harbour in about ten minutes.

It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not new. The rooms at the back look out towards the sea.

There's a small enclosed courtyard garden. From there, you can walk through the holiday park straight down to Traeth Gwyn beach. It's a long sandy beach and dogs are allowed all year.

New Quay has all the usual things: shops, pubs, restaurants. They're on the hills around the harbour. You can sit on the harbour wall and watch the boats. Dolphin spotting boat trips go from the harbour in season. Look out for them from the shore too.

If you want to drive out, Aberaeron is about 15 minutes south. It's a nice little harbour town with colourful houses. Aberystwyth is about 40 minutes north. They've got a long promenade and a cliff railway. Inland, the Cors Caron bog is worth a visit if you like walking. It's a nature reserve with a boardwalk.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. WiFi is there. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
