Magnolia Cottage
Magnolia Cottage is in Aberaeron, on the west Wales coast. It’s a detached house, so no neighbours to worry about. It sleeps twelve people, in six bedrooms with four bathrooms. Two of the bathrooms are downstairs, one of which is a wet room.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That just means it's well-equipped and everything's in good order. Think granite worktops and a range cooker, not just a standard oven. The living room has an electric fire that looks like a wood burner.
The garden is enclosed and landscaped. You can sit out there and you get a view of the sea. It’s not a huge panoramic view, but you can see it between the houses.
Aberaeron itself is about a five minute walk away. It's a small, colourful harbour town. There’s a good local shop and a couple of pubs. The pubs do food. There are a few places to eat fish and chips or get seafood.
New Quay is a twenty minute drive up the coast. You can sometimes see dolphins from the pier there on a clear day. Aberystwyth is about forty minutes north. Both are worth a visit.
For walks, the Ceredigion Coast Path goes right past. You can walk from the cottage down to the harbour and pick it up. If you want to drive somewhere, the National Trust has a few places nearby like Llanerchaeron.

In terms of what’s there: all bedding and towels are included. There’s a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, and highchair. There’s parking on the drive for a couple of cars. It’s listed as wheelchair accessible, mainly because of the ground floor wet room and level entrance. The main living space is all on one floor. It's not pets, sorry.
We also have another house, Copper Beech, about half a mile away if you need space for a bigger group.
