Glasfor is in Llansantffraed, near Llanon. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one floor. We're just across the lane.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The living room has a wood burner and doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've brought a dog or have kids. There's a separate snug room as well, if someone wants a bit of quiet.
You're about a two minute walk from the coast path. The beach here is pebbly. For sand, you'll need to drive a bit. Lots of the beaches around Cardigan Bay allow dogs all year.
In Llanon, about half a mile away, there's a shop, a butcher, a pub, and a fish and chip shop. It covers the basics.
Aberystwyth is up the coast, about twenty minutes by car. It's a proper town with a promenade, a pier, and the cliff railway. The Vale of Rheidol Railway steam train goes from there to Devil's Bridge.
Going the other way, Aberaeron is ten minutes south. It's a colourful harbour town with good places to eat. New Quay is a bit further, another ten minutes maybe. You can sometimes see dolphins from the harbour there.
The Wales Coast Path is right on the doorstep for walking. For a bigger day out, the Cambrian Mountains are inland, about a half hour drive.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
