Beudy

Beudy is one of four cottages here at Bwlch Y Person Barns, near Ystrad Aeron. It's a converted stone barn with three bedrooms and sleeps four. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable.

The layout is all on one level, which is good if stairs are a problem. There are two bathrooms, one of which is a wet room with grab rails. The living area is open plan. It's clean and modern but keeps the character of the old building.

Outside, you have your own enclosed patio with a hot tub. There's parking right outside your door. The views are over fields. We've got a barn owl that lives around the place, so you might see it in the evening.

You're welcome to bring one dog. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.

The location is quiet. The nearest pub and shop are about a mile and a half away in the village. For bigger shops, you'll want to go to Aberaeron, which is about six miles. It's a nice little harbour town with places to eat. The coastal path there is good for a flat walk.

New Quay is a bit further along the coast. You can sometimes see dolphins from the harbour there. The Llanerchaeron estate is close by for a walk around the house and gardens.

You're well placed for the Ceredigion coastline. It's about a twenty minute drive to several good beaches. For planning days out, the Visit Wales Coast site is useful.
