Cwm Dulas is on our farm in Pentre rhew. It's a working farm with Highland cattle. The cottage is detached, converted from an old pig sty. It's all on one level so there are no stairs, which is useful for some. It's got underfloor heating, so it's warm.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One is a twin, the other has a kingsize bed and its own shower room. There's a second bathroom with a bath. Both bedrooms are at one end of the place, the living area is at the other.
It's open plan. Patio doors open out to your own garden and a patio with a table. You look out over our fields. It's very quiet.
The village, Llanddewi Brefi, is about two and a half miles away. It has a shop and two pubs. Tregaron is three miles in the other direction. That's a proper market town with more shops, a couple of places to eat, and the Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre.
If you like walking, Cors Caron nature reserve is just past Tregaron. There's a good boardwalk path through the bog. For a longer walk or a drive, the Cambrian Mountains start here. The coast at Aberystwyth is about 35 minutes by car. You can see dolphins from the boat trips there sometimes. Aberaeron is a bit further south, it's a nice harbour town with colourful houses.
On the facilities: it has Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We don't allow pets. It's wheelchair accessible to get in, but you'd need to check the specific measurements if you use a chair.
