Ty Gwair
This is Ty Gwair in Betws Bledrws. It's our barn conversion. It's detached and sits on our smallholding, so you're right in the middle of fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. One is on the ground floor. It got a 4 Star rating after we finished renovating it in 2022. It's open plan inside, with a wood burner. There's a decent sized enclosed garden too.
The stairs to the first floor bedroom are quite steep, just so you know.
You can walk straight out onto a bridleway that leads into Longwood Community Woodland. It's about 300 acres. We've got livestock, so please ask before you go into the fields.
Lampeter is about three miles away for shops, pubs, and cafes. The coast is about a half hour drive. New Quay is good for beaches and dolphin spotting. Aberaeron is a nice harbour town, about ten miles.
Aberystwyth is within half an hour. It's got the promenade, the pier, and the cliff railway up Constitution Hill.
If you're after a day out, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines are worth a look. Or the red kite feeding centre at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian.
It's pet friendly, for up to two dogs. There's parking right there, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included.
