Cwmporthman Farm Cottage

Cwmporthman Farm Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on our working dairy farm near Blaenporth. It was the old farmhouse. We restored it a few years ago.

It sleeps six with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.

You come down a farm track to get here. It's a proper farm lane, so you need a normal car. Low-slung sports cars won't like it.

The main room is open plan, with the kitchen, living and dining area all together. Big patio doors open onto a raised terrace. The hot tub is out there. The views are over our fields. You'll see the cows.

The garden is enclosed. One dog is welcome. They can be off the lead on the patio, but need to be on a lead if you go into the main garden or walk around, because it's a working farm.

Aberporth beach is about a five minute drive. It's a good sandy beach. There are others nearby too, like Mwnt and Llangrannog. The National Trust beach at Penbryn is close.

New Quay is about twenty minutes away. You can see dolphins sometimes from the harbour. Aberaeron is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes. It's a nice little town with coloured houses around the harbour.

For walking, the Ceredigion Coastal Path is right there. You can pick it up from Aberporth.

Facilities: it has a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
