Cwmporthman Farm Cwtch

Cwmporthman Farm Cwtch is on our dairy farm just outside Blaenporth. It's a pod, like a small wooden cabin, detached so you're not sharing a wall with anyone. It's in a field here on the farm. You can see the cows grazing.

It sleeps four, but honestly, it's one bedroom. The bed is up on a mezzanine. There's a sofa bed downstairs. It's modern inside, everything's new and clean. Had the inspectors last year and they gave it the 5 Star, so it's got everything you need.

French doors open out onto your own deck. There's a hot tub on it. The deck is enclosed, so dogs can be off the lead there. They have to be on a lead anywhere else on the farm because of the livestock.

Getting here is down our farm lane. It's a bit rough. Low sports cars or anything with very low suspension will struggle a bit.

Aberporth beach is about a five minute drive. It's a proper sandy beach. Good for families. Other good ones nearby are Mwnt and Tresaith. The Wales Coast Path runs along here too. You can walk from beach to beach if you want. We often see dolphins from the headlands.

New Quay is about twenty minutes up the coast. That's where you go for boat trips or if you want a bunch of cafes and restaurants. Cardigan town is about fifteen minutes inland. They've got a big supermarket there.

It has its own parking. Wifi, TV, towels, all included. There's a washing machine in the utility area you can use. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

You can book it together with the cottage next door if you've got a bigger group.

If you're looking at maps or planning walks, the Visit Ceredigion site is useful.
