Owls About

Come and enjoy Owls About with your family and friends. This cedarwood lodge is located within the small, family run holiday park of Penlan, where privately owned Scandinavian-style lodges are nestled in a delightful wooded parkland setting and a short walk from the picturesque hamlet of Cenarth. The park is surrounded by oak and beech trees, and is a haven for wildlife as well as providing a range of facilities especially suitable for families, it also boasts a heated outdoor swimming pool.
Owls About offers the perfect space to relax and enjoy your holiday with a bright and airy open plan living and dining room and cooking can be done in the kitchen or you may prefer to cook al fresco. Onsite there is an outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s playground, large playing field and picnic area, and a games room with pool tables and darts. Wi-Fi can also be accessed on-site. In season, the park runs regular themed entertainment nights and there is a coffee lounge and restaurant available on these nights too. You are only a mile from the lovely village of Cenarth, where you will find pubs, cafés and a shop too. A little further on is the attractive market town of Newcastle Emlyn, which has an array of shops, cafés and a supermarket. A 10-minute drive away is The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve run by the Wildlife Trust with one of the best wetland sites in Wales. The coastal path runs through the nearby town of Cardigan, here you can join the 186 miles of Pembrokeshire National park Coastal footpath. A trip to New Quay is well worth the visit, here you can take a boat trip from the harbour to spot the resident bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and a huge array of birdlife. The famous walled town of Tenby is around 50 minutes away with Oakwood, Wales’s largest theme park and Folly Farm Zoo all a great day out. Beach 12 miles. Shop 1 mile, restaurant 100 yards. Owls About can be booked together with Twit Too Woo to accommodate up to 11 guests.
