Gamekeepers Cottage

It used to be the gamekeeper's cottage for Pentre Mansion. The family who own it restored it using traditional methods, so there are a lot of original features. Exposed stone, lime walls, beams, quarry tiles, and original wooden flooring upstairs.
There's a wood burning stove in the living area. The bathroom has a cast iron roll-top bath. The stairs are open and steep.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed. There's on-site parking. All bedding and towels are provided.
The local pub is about an 800 yard walk. A shop and restaurant are two miles away in Abercych village. Cardigan is about a ten minute drive. It's a market town with shops, cafes, and the coast path runs through it.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is right there if you want to walk. The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi Marshes are nearby. Cenarth Falls is a five-minute drive. Good beaches like Mwnt, Poppit Sands, and Newport Sands are within about half an hour.
