Maes Yr Onnen is in Abercych, Pembrokeshire. It's a big Victorian house, detached. It used to be the minister's house. We've renovated it.
It sleeps ten people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's spacious, good for a family or a group of friends.
You come into a wide hallway with original oak floors. The kitchen is new, but there are original fireplaces and doors too. There's a wood burner in the dining area. For relaxing, there's a living room, a snug with another TV, and a basement games room with a pool table and darts. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub out there.
The stairs are fine, they're just normal stairs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets, sorry.
The village pub is about a mile's walk away. They do food. The local shop is about two and a half miles.
You're on the River Cych here, near Cenarth Falls. There are good woodland walks. Cilgerran Nature Reserve is close for wildlife. You're right on the border of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire, so you can explore three counties.
The Pembrokeshire coast is about a 20 to 30 minute drive. That's for the Coastal Path and beaches like Newport and Poppit Sands. You can see dolphins from the coast sometimes. Cardigan Castle is in Cardigan town. Newcastle Emlyn and Cilgerran have castles too. The Preseli Hills are inland for views and walking.
For a day out with kids, Folly Farm is about half an hour away. Heatherton is similar.
