The Chapel Barn
The Chapel Barn is in Penrhiwllan, Carmarthenshire. It's a barn conversion next to our house, but you've got your own space and a garden. It's mostly on one level, looking out over the fields.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom is on the ground floor. The second bedroom has two single beds and is up on a mezzanine floor. The stairs to it are open-tread and a bit steep.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. There's underfloor heating, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's parking right outside.
The village has a shop and a pub, The Daffodil, which is about a five minute walk. They do food and local ales. Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul are both about four miles away for bigger shops. The River Teifi runs through Llandysul, which is good for fishing or canoeing.
The coast at Cardigan Bay is about a 25 minute drive. There are several nice beaches and coastal walks there. Further inland, places like the National Wool Museum or Cenarth Falls are within half an hour.
