The Chapel Barn is near Penrhiwllan in Carmarthenshire. It's next to our place, so we're around if you need anything, but the barn is completely private. It's a single-storey barn conversion, mostly all on the ground floor, with one bedroom up on a mezzanine level.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's fitted out to a high standard. Everything's new and works properly. The main living area is open plan, so it's a good space for everyone to be together.
There's a patio and garden with a table, looking out over the fields. Parking is right outside the door.
In the village, about a ten minute walk, there's The Daffodil pub. They do good food and local ales. There's also a village shop for basics. For a bigger shop, Newcastle Emlyn or Llandysul are about a ten minute drive either way. They've both got supermarkets, cafes, and a few interesting shops. The River Teifi runs through both.
The coast at Cardigan Bay is about 25 minutes by car. Good beaches there, like Poppit Sands. Inland, the Teifi Valley has things like the National Wool Museum and the Coracle Centre. Cenarth Falls is nice for a walk.
For a proper day out, you can drive down to Tenby in about an hour. It's a proper seaside town with a castle, harbour, and big beaches.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a stairgate for the mezzanine stairs. Sorry, no pets.
