The Mongolian Ger is on our land in Rhos, Carmarthenshire. It's a proper Mongolian tent, not a yurt. It's up in a field with a view across the valley. You're on your own up there.
It sleeps four. One room, really. It's got a double bed and two singles all in the same space. There's a wood burning stove for heat. The kitchen area is basic: a small gas hob and a cool box. We provide the ice packs. There's no mains electricity, but we have solar panels that run the lights and charge points.
The toilet and shower are in a separate block. It's a short walk down the track. It's shared with a couple of other glamping places on the site, but it's kept clean.
There's a big communal fire pit and a log cabin you can use. The kids' play area is in the woods below, with some things to climb on. The woods are good for den building.
You're right on the border of three counties here. For a day out, the coast at Cardigan or New Quay is about half an hour's drive. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about twenty minutes away. If you want to walk, the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Pembrokeshire Coast are both within easy reach.
In terms of what's here: bedding is included, you've got the wood burner, a BBQ, and parking right next to the ger. No pets, sorry. It's a three star rating, which fits. It's comfortable but simple.
