Ivy Cottage is in Waungilwen, which is in Carmarthenshire. It's semi-detached, two bedrooms, sleeps four.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a show home. Think of it as a base. Everything works, it's warm, you can make a cup of tea.
The main thing is the space. You've got six acres of private woodland around you. It's quiet. You're not overlooked. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. We allow two.
The stairs are cottage stairs. They're fine, but they wind round a bit. Just mind your head getting up to the bedrooms.
Newcastle Emlyn is the nearest town, about half a mile. You can walk it. There's a castle there, some pubs, a few shops. It's handy.
From here you're well placed for a few things. The Brecon Beacons are about a 30 minute drive north. The coast, like Llansteffan or Pendine Sands, is about the same the other way. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is maybe 25 minutes away.
It's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, TV, wifi. There's a barbecue. Parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair if you need one.
