Ivy Cottage is in Waungilwen, near Newcastle Emlyn. It's semi-detached, from the Victorian period I think. The main thing is the space. It's set in six acres of private woodland, so it's very quiet. You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The stairs are typical old cottage stairs.
There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away in the village. The town is Newcastle Emlyn, about a mile and a half. It's a nice little place with a castle ruin by the river and a few places to eat.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Brecon Beacons are about a 30 minute drive north. The coast, like Llansteffan or Pendine Sands, is about 25 minutes south. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is maybe 20 minutes east.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a highchair, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ and bike storage under cover.
