The Orchard is a detached lodge, which means you're on your own, not joined to anyone else. It's on Morlogws Farm, which is a working dairy farm. You'll hear and see the farm things going on around you. It's down a private lane, in a wooded bit of the valley.
It sleeps four people and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's got everything you need, like a washing machine and wi-fi. Bedding and towels are included.
The inside is all open-plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are in one space. There's a patio with a garden area outside. The lodge is raised up, so you go up some steps or a ramp to the front door. From there you look out over a pond and fields.
You share some facilities with the other cottages on the farm. There's an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. There's also a games room with a pool table and table tennis, and some gym equipment too.
The location is rural. The nearest proper shop, pub or restaurant is about six miles away in Newcastle Emlyn. It's an historic market town with a few places to eat. For a beach, you're looking at a drive. Poppit, Mwnt, Aberporth or New Quay are all within about half an hour. Cardigan and the castle are also about a 30-minute drive.
If you're planning walks or days out, these sites are useful: Visit Wales, National Trust Wales, and Carmarthenshire County Council for local paths.
No pets, I'm afraid.
