Crooklets Cottage is near Box's Shop, between Bude and Stratton. It's a standalone stone cottage. You're about a mile and a half from Bude and the coast, so you need a car.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's a double and two twins. Two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxury. The stairs are a spiral staircase. They're steep and a bit narrow, as you'd expect in an old cottage.
The garden is yours. There's a sunroom off the back that gets the afternoon light. The kitchen has what you need: dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to four dogs. There's parking on the drive.
Bude is the main thing nearby. It's a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper seaside town with shops, places to eat, and a sea pool. Crooklets Beach is one of the main ones there, hence the name. Widemouth Bay is a bit further south, maybe ten minutes by car. The south end is dog friendly all year.
For walking, the coastal path is right there. Crackington Haven is about twenty minutes drive south. Sandymouth Bay is owned by the National Trust and is about fifteen minutes north.
If you're planning to explore, the Visit Cornwall site is useful. For the coast path and National Trust places, South West Coast Path is the best resource.
