Hernmargh Skiber
Hernmargh Skiber is out at Box's Shop, which is a little hamlet north of Bude. It's a barn conversion that we finished renovating last year.
It sleeps four. There's a king size bed in one room and twin beds in the other, and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything's new. The layout is open plan downstairs.
Outside, there's a private garden with a patio. There's a hot tub and an outdoor shower, which is handy for washing off sand or wetsuits. The property is on a working farm, so you'll see animals in the fields around you.
You're about a ten minute drive from Widemouth Bay, which is a good, long sandy beach. Bude is maybe fifteen minutes by car. It's a classic Cornish seaside town with shops, cafes, and its main beach. The South West Coast Path runs right through there if you want a proper walk.
For a change of scene, you can drive down to Crackington Haven or Boscastle, both within half an hour. Bodmin Moor is about the same drive inland if you fancy more rugged scenery.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. We allow up to two dogs.
