Trespaddick is near Trewint in Cornwall. It's a single-storey cottage, so all one level. It sleeps three, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
It's a four-star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped, not basic. It's part of a group of cottages on an old farm site. You have your own garden and patio with a barbecue. The parking is right outside, and there's an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's open plan. The layout is good for someone with limited mobility, as there are no steps and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's underfloor heating, which is very effective. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included.
We allow two dogs. The garden is enclosed, but it's not completely escape-proof for a very determined Houdini dog, so you'd need to keep an eye.
On the site there's a shared games room in an old barn. It has a pool table, air hockey, a dartboard, and a Bluetooth speaker. It's a useful space if the weather turns.
You're about three miles from Crackington Haven. It's a good beach, sandy at low tide with rock pools. It gets surf. There's a pub and a tea room there. For other beaches, you're close to lots of options like Boscastle and Bude. Bude has a big sandy beach, a canal, and all the usual town shops and cafes.
If you like walking, you're right on the South West Coast Path. The National Trust owns a lot of the coastline here. Tintagel Castle is about a 20-minute drive. For a change from the coast, Exmoor National Park is under an hour's drive.
