Trevigue is a cottage on a farm near Crackington Haven. The farm is about 200 acres. It's run by the National Trust and goes from the cliffs at Beeny down to the beach. You're up on the cliffs.
The cottage sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a four star rating. It's a proper old farmhouse, so expect low beams and winding stairs. Some of the stairs are quite steep, just so you know.
It's remote. You're down a lane and not overlooked. You've got your own garden with a view over the fields. Parking for two cars right outside.
Inside, it's been done up. It's comfortable, not just old. There are two living rooms, both have wood burners and books. Upstairs, the main bathroom has a bath and the ground floor one has a walk-in shower.
You can walk to Crackington Haven in about twenty minutes. There's a pub and a couple of cafes there. The coastal path is about five minutes from the door. You can also get down to Strangles Beach from the farm land, but it's a bit of a clamber.
If you're driving, Bude is about twenty minutes north. Padstow is roughly half an hour south. For a big day out, you could go to Bodmin Moor or the Eden Project, both within about forty-five minutes.
Facilities: everything's included. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog.
