Bill And Ben's Cottage is on our family farm in Warbstow, Cornwall. It used to be a milking shed. We've done it up, but kept the feel. It sleeps six, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
There's one bedroom downstairs with a bathroom next to it. That bathroom has a corner bath and a separate shower. Upstairs is a bit tighter, you've got a kingsize bedroom with its own shower room, then a twin room.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The living room has a wood burner in the old granite fireplace. We provide the first bag of logs. There's a Smart TV and WiFi. The stairs are fairly steep, as you'd expect.
Outside, there's a private patio with a table and a BBQ. You can use the farm grounds. There's coarse fishing in the pond, a tennis court, and a games room in the old barn. The kids can see the alpacas and sometimes help feed the lambs.
You're in proper countryside here. The nearest shop, post office and pub are in the village, about three miles away. The coast at Bude is about twenty minutes by car. It's got good beaches for surfing or swimming. Further along the coast, you've got Crackington Haven and Boscastle.
If you want to explore, Tintagel Castle is about half an hour's drive. Port Isaac is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. Bodmin Moor is closer, good for walking. Cornwall's sites are well spread out, so you will be driving.
Facilities: all bedding is included. There's a cot, highchair and a stairgate if you need them. Parking is on the drive. There's an electric vehicle charger. We don't allow pets during the main season, but might consider them out of season if you contact us first.
