This is Bellair in Widemouth Bay. It's a detached bungalow, so everything is on one level. That's good if you don't want stairs. There's a parking space right next to it.
The place sleeps six across three bedrooms. It's got a four star rating, which is to be expected. It's clean, warm, and has a decent kitchen diner. The living room gets the evening sun. The view from the front over the bay is the main thing.
The beach is a two minute walk down a lane. It's a proper sand and surf beach, good for dogs and bodyboarding. You have to climb down some steps to get onto the sand. The South West Coast Path is right there too.
It takes dogs. Up to four. The garden is enclosed, but I'd keep an eye on an escape artist. It's mainly gravel and paving, with a grassy patch. There's outdoor seating and a barbecue.
Inside there's a separate games room with a pool table. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and some tiling with fish on it.
Widemouth Bay itself has a surf school and a cafe. Bude is a five minute drive. It's got shops, cafes, a sea pool, and the canal. For a bigger supermarket, you're looking at Holsworthy or Launceston, about twenty minutes away.
Day trip wise, you can get to Tintagel in about half an hour. Boscastle is a bit less. Both are National Trust. The surfing beaches at Bude and Crackington Haven are on your doorstep. For walking, Bodmin Moor is about a thirty minute drive inland.
It's got the practical things. WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. They've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
