Miramar

Miramar is in Bude. It's a five minute walk down into the town. You get a lot for the star rating. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms.

There's a big deck outside with a hot tub on it. The garden's below that, mostly lawn. There's also an outdoor shower, which is good for when you come back from the beach.

Inside, it's spacious. There are two living rooms, both with wood burners. The kitchen is open plan and has all the usual stuff – dishwasher, washing machine. The dining table fits everyone. There's one family bathroom upstairs with a bath and a separate shower.

The stairs are fine. Two of the bedrooms have sea views. One has a super kingsize bed you can split into twins if you need to. Another room has twin beds that are a bit smaller, so it’s better for kids.

You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is on the driveway.

Summerleaze Beach and the town centre are a short walk. The sea pool is there too. For a bigger beach, Widemouth Bay is a five minute drive. You're on the coast path for walks.

If you want to explore, you're right on the border. National Trust Cornwall has lots of places within an hour, like Boscastle and Tintagel. Port Isaac is about half an hour south. Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within an hour's drive.
