Pigeon Coo Lodge

Pigeon Coo Lodge is a detached wooden lodge in Hamstead, on the quiet north-west side of the Isle of Wight. It's in a conservation area, so you're looking out at woods and fields. It's very peaceful.

It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four. There's one bathroom with a shower. The main room is open plan. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, not a show home.

You've got your own enclosed garden and parking right there. Bedding and towels are included. We don't accept pets.

The local shop and a pub are about a mile away down the lane. The nearest beach is about the same distance, mostly shingle. You're really here for the walks. The track from the lodge takes you straight down to Newtown Creek, which is a nature reserve. The coastal path is accessible from there.

If you want to see more of the island, most places are within about half an hour's drive. The Needles and Alum Bay are to the west. Osborne House, Carisbrooke Castle, and the sailing at Cowes are to the east.
