Solent Village 13 is a caravan on a park in Great Thorness, on the north coast of the Isle of Wight. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's tidy and functional.
The caravan itself is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area. There's a wraparound deck outside with some furniture. The facilities list says bedding and towels are included, and there's a dishwasher and TV.
The park has its own things going on. There's a heated indoor pool with a flume, a sports court, an adventure playground for kids, and a bar and restaurant called The Boathouse that does food and evening entertainment. There's also a launderette on site if you need it.
Thorness Bay is the local beach. It's a shingle beach, about a 15 minute walk from the park. It's good for a swim and the sunsets are nice.
If you want to explore, Cowes is about a 20 minute drive east. That's where the sailing is. Newport, the main town, is about 25 minutes inland. For a proper day out, Osborne House near East Cowes is worth a visit, or you can go to The Needles at the far west end of the island. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and some properties if you're after walks or history.
You can bring one dog. There's parking next to the caravan.
