Perched on the slopes of the Otter Valley with views over the rolling hills of East Devon - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - this glorious glamp-site sits just 10 minutes from Sidmouth and the iconic Jurassic Coast. This exclusive adults-only site contains 5 luxury glamping pods - each individually hand-crafted in the owner’s workshop - and has been specifically designed for a grown-up getaway to this stunning section of the English countryside. The pods are exquisitely furnished with their own unique countryside character, including luxurious double-beds, kitchens, en-suite showers, comfy sofas and their own BBQ/picnic area outside. Otter gets its name from the River Otter that flows at the bottom of the park, who’s furry inhabitants can sometimes be spotted bobbing and weaving through the tranquil waters. The pod is decorated in earthy tones similar to an otters coat, with little flashes of colour to make a cosy and peaceful haven. What’s more, the site has been specifically designed to accommodate pets, so you can experience the areas wonderful walking options with your best friend in tow. Being dog-owners themselves, the owners have supplied a carefully thought-out selection facilities including beds, food & water bowls, leads & collars as well as washing facilities for your pooch.
From its superior position at the top of a slope, the pods enjoy majestic views across the tranquil Devonshire countryside. Watch the sun traverse the sky with a gorgeous panorama from sunrise to sunset and listen to the sounds of nature with woodland birds and flourishing wildlife in abundance. The site is only a 10 minutes stroll to the village of Tipton St John, and sits amongst a variety of stunning wilderness, from the rolling landscape of East Devon to the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Explore sandy beaches and coastal walks to quaint country villages - you really are spoilt for choice.
