Toddles Barn is tucked away in the corner of the traditional farming village of Skelton nestling in the Cumbrian countryside. The 17th-century barn was originally stables and hayloft for attached Church House . This upside down 3 bedroom barn is bursting with character, charm and beams galore. Enter an unassuming doorway into a generous hallway, ideal for all your coats and boots. A traditional stone floor adds real character as well as being practical. Sleeping 6 people with 2 spacious kingsize bedrooms, 1 with en-suite facilities, and 1 smaller twin-bedded room which can be made into a 6ft double. The main bathroom has real country style with wood panelling, roll top bath and separate power shower. Once upstairs the barn opens out to an amazing large social space. The open plan living area has 2 large comfy sofas and chairs for relaxing. The fantastic wood burner is guaranteed to keep you warm even on the coldest night. The occasional cow from our neighbouring farm may break the silence and if you are lucky they will sometimes walk right past your bedroom window on the way to the fields to graze in summer. Due to the nature of the property and the fact there are so many wonderful beams - it might not be suitable for giants!! Hopefully you will find the beams a real fantastic feature and memorable for all the right reasons.
Toddles Barn can be booked with Church House and Precious Barn to accommodate up to 18 guests.
