Buddy’s Cottage is a cosy traditional Cumbrian home, quirky and characterful. There is a large utility room where you can leave your coats, muddy boots and bikes after a day of exploring the area. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need on your Lake District holiday and the spacious living room, complete with a cosy corner sofa and warming wood burner, makes the perfect space to end your day. There are two sweet bedrooms and a modern bathroom.

Buddy’s Cottage is centrally positioned in the historical market town of Kendal, the third largest town in Cumbria, offering an array of independent cafés, bars and shops, supermarkets and breweries. With the River Kent running through the middle of the town it offers some lovely riverside walks, while the ruins of Kendal Castle at the top of the hill provide stunning panoramic views. Just a 20-minute drive away is the popular village of Windermere where you can enjoy the local shops, cafés and bars on offer. Cruises on Lake Windermere can be accessed from Bowness-on-Windermere which is also just a short drive away. Beach 13½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
