Church View
Church View is in Skipton, which is a market town. It’s called the gateway to the Dales, which is true. It’s three floors. Sleeps six, maybe seven, with a single bed upgrade option on one of the twins. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The living room is at the front, with a sofa and a gas fire. Kitchen is at the back of that floor. You go down a flight of stairs to the dining area. It's a bit unusual, but it works.
Upstairs to the first floor, there's a double bedroom and the main bathroom with a shower over the bath. Another flight up and you've got the other double and the twin room. They share a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. It has lockable doors.
There's a pub about 40 yards away. The town centre is a five minute walk. Plenty of shops, cafes, and the canal is there. Skipton Castle is a ten minute walk.
For walks, you can start right from the door or drive a little way. The Dales are on your doorstep. Malham Cove is about a 25 minute drive. Bolton Abbey is about 15 minutes.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and a small garden out the back. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
