Corton Gem is a bungalow in the village of Corton, just outside Lowestoft. It's detached and all on one level, which can be handy. The garden is a good size, private, and it gets the sun. There's a patio area, a sun shelter, a BBQ, and a fire pit.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms: one king, one double, and one with two singles. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything you'd expect is included, like bedding, towels, WiFi, and parking. It's pet friendly, up to two dogs.
You can walk to Corton beach. It's sandy and quieter than some. There's a local pub within walking distance too.
If you want to explore further, Lowestoft is a few minutes' drive for shops and things like the Maritime Museum. Great Yarmouth, with its seafront and amusements, is about twenty minutes south. To the south, you've got Southwold, which is known for the Adnams brewery and its beach huts, and Aldeburgh. Both are about a half hour drive. Africa Alive zoo and Pleasurewood Hills theme park are also nearby, within twenty minutes or so.
The Suffolk Coast & Heaths National Landscape is right here for walking. The National Trust looks after several places along this coast, like Dunwich Heath.
In terms of facilities, it's all listed. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and things like a cot and highchair if you need them. Because it's a bungalow, there are grab rails in the bathroom, which some people find useful.
