The Lookout
The Lookout is a converted stable in Lound, Suffolk. It's detached. It sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kitted out and comfortable.
It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. The main room is open plan. Big windows look straight out over the fields. You'll see rabbits and birds. Sometimes deer. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a walk in shower. Outside, there's a private patio with a hot tub.
The village pub is a short walk away. For a beach, Hopton-on-Sea is about two miles. It's sandy. Lowestoft is close by if you need shops or the pier.
Within half an hour's drive you've got a few options. Southwold has the Adnams brewery and some good places to eat. Aldeburgh is similar. The Broads are there if you want to hire a boat for the day. Somerleyton Hall is a nice visit for the gardens. For a bigger museum, the Time and Tide in Great Yarmouth covers local history.
