Orchard Barn
Orchard Barn is in Lower Thurlton, Norfolk. It's next to our house, but it's completely separate. You'll have your own space.
It's a barn conversion that sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything works. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about.
The garden is private. There's a barbecue and outdoor furniture. You get parking right outside.
The setting is rural. You're surrounded by fields and footpaths. You can walk from the door. Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on a lead once you're outside the garden, as there are often animals in the nearby fields.
The village shop and pub are a short walk away. For a bigger choice, Loddon is about ten minutes by car. Beccles is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes. It's a nice market town with shops, a weekly market, and an outdoor lido.
You're on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. You can hire a boat for the day from Beccles or Loddon if you want to get out on the water.
Within half an hour you can drive into Norwich. It's a proper city with a castle, a theatre, and plenty of shops. The coast at Great Yarmouth is also about thirty minutes away.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
