Wild Grape Lodge

Wild Grape Lodge is at Caldecott Hall in Belton, Norfolk. It's a modern lodge, detached, on the edge of the golf course. You look out over the fairways.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The main bedroom is on the ground floor. One of the doubles has an en-suite. There's a bunk room, which is good for kids.

A spiral staircase goes up from the main living area to a first-floor lounge and a games zone with a pool table and console. The stairs are a tight spiral, mind you. Worth noting if anyone has mobility issues or is very tall. There's a glass walkway up there too, which leads to a small balcony with seating.

Outside, there's an enclosed deck at the back with a table, chairs, a barbecue, and a private hot tub. There's also a private sauna inside.

The lodge is part of the Fairway Lakes development. The on-site indoor swimming pool is open daily, but you pay extra to use it, and there are specific times for children. The golf club has a restaurant you can use too.

Location wise, you're on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. It's about a ten minute drive to Gorleston-on-Sea for the beach. Great Yarmouth is maybe fifteen minutes for the promenade and amusements. The coast road north leads to places like Winterton and Sea Palling.

For a day out, Norwich is under half an hour's drive. The Broads themselves are right there for boating or walking. You can drive south to the Suffolk coast, like Southwold, in about forty-five minutes.

Facilities: it's got the hot tub, sauna, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. It has on-site parking and an electric vehicle charger. No pets.
