Beach Happy
Beach Happy is a modern holiday house in Great Yarmouth. It's compact, which is the polite way of saying it's not enormous, but it sleeps six. You've got three bedrooms upstairs: two doubles and one with bunk beds. One bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and everything works. The stairs are typical for this sort of place. Fine for most, but watch your head if you're tall.
The big thing is the location. You're about two minutes' walk from the sandy beach and the main promenade. That's where all the classic seaside stuff is: the pier, amusements, crazy golf, donkey rides, fish and chip shops. It's all right on your doorstep. There are pubs, restaurants, and shops within 150 yards. It's very convenient.
If you want to get out on the water, you can get boat trips from the beach to see the seals at Scroby Sands. Local fishing is available from the beach too.
For a change of scene, the Norfolk Broads are about a 20-minute drive inland. It's a national park with rivers and lakes. You can hire boats or just walk. Norwich is a good half-hour drive away if you need a city day for shopping or the castle museum.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
