Coastguard Cottages

Coastguard Cottages is in Caister on Sea, on the Norfolk coast. There are two other cottages attached. You get your own private gardens, front and back. The back gate opens onto the path straight down to the sandy beach. It's literally a minute's walk.

The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom, and one of the bedrooms has its own private toilet. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been done up nicely, it's clean and comfortable. The stairs are steep.

Caister High Street is about ten minutes walk. There are shops, supermarkets, a few pubs and places to eat. The beach here is really good, wide and sandy. You often see seals offshore.

Behind the cottage there's a small caravan park. You're welcome to use their clubhouse bar and restaurant if you like. They have entertainment in the season and an outdoor play area.

Great Yarmouth is about three miles down the road. That's the classic seaside town with a pleasure beach, amusements, leisure centre and all that. Caister itself has the castle ruins and a museum with classic cars. The racecourse does stock car and greyhound racing.

The Norfolk Broads are about a twenty minute drive inland. You can hire boats there or go on river trips. Norwich is about forty minutes away by car if you want a cathedral, a castle museum, or proper shopping.

Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets.
