Dunburgh Wood

Dunburgh Wood is in the hamlet of Dunburgh, in Norfolk. It looks over the River Waveney. It's a detached house, sleeps up to twelve people. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done to a high standard.

There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual. It's got a big garden that runs down to the river. The riverbank is yours to use.

The hot tub is in the garden, under a cover. You can fish from the garden if that’s your thing. The river is slow there, so it’s alright for swimming or messing about with a paddleboard if you bring your own. It's very quiet.

For shops and things, Beccles is a bit over a mile away. It’s a nice market town. You can walk there along the river path.

You’re in the Broads here. The Broads Authority site has maps and details about hiring boats. It’s good if you want to get out on the water properly.

For the coast, places like Southwold and Walberswick are about a thirty minute drive. The beach at Covehithe is quieter. Norwich is also within half an hour.

There’s parking on the drive for several cars. It has all the things you’d expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Pets aren’t allowed.
