Waveney Valley View is in Burgh St Peter, Norfolk. It's a detached barn conversion. The main thing is the view. You look out over Aldeby Marshes and farmland, right down to the River Waveney. You get birds and wildlife.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. One double bedroom is on the ground floor. The twin beds are up a set of stairs to a galleried area with a vaulted ceiling. The stairs are fine, but mind your head up there, the ceiling slopes at the sides.
There's an open plan living area with large doors that open up. It has a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The kitchen has a dishwasher. The garden is enclosed at the back, with a lawn. There's a seating area at the front to sit and look at the view.
You can walk or cycle from the door on quiet lanes. The White Lion pub is within walking distance. About five minutes drive away is the River Waveney Centre. You can hire canoes or day boats there to get out on the Broads, or they have an indoor pool. Norfolk Broads Authority has information about the park.
Beccles is the nearest proper town, about a ten minute drive. It's a nice market town with shops, cafes, and a quay on the river. It has an outdoor lido.
For the coast, it's about half an hour to places like Lowestoft, Gorleston, or Southwold. Southwold has the beach huts and the pier. Norwich is also about half an hour away for a day out.
Facilities: parking on site, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ. No pets sorry.
