Hideaway

This is Hideaway, a converted barn in Beccles. It’s detached and sits in its own enclosed garden. The garden gets sun in the afternoon.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. There’s a wood burner in the living area. The kitchen is open plan.

Beccles town centre is about five minutes walk away. There’s a weekly market. You’ve got shops, pubs and cafes there. The River Waveney runs through the town, so you can hire boats or go for walks along it. It’s part of the Broads. There’s also a lido, which is an outdoor heated pool, open in summer. You’d need to book.

You’re on the edge of the Broads National Park. You can drive to the coast at Southwold in about half an hour. It’s got a beach and a pier. Dunwich Heath and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere are a similar distance. Aldeburgh is about 45 minutes away. Snape Maltings, where they have concerts, is about 35 minutes.

Facilities: there’s a hot tub in the garden, a washing machine, WiFi, and on-site parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
