Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is near Barnby in Suffolk. It's detached, a former stable converted into a one-bedroom cottage for two people. There's parking right outside.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on the ground floor. The layout is open plan. There's a walk-in shower. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to two.
The view is the main thing. It looks straight out over open fields. No other houses in the way. It's very quiet.
There's no Wi-Fi at the cottage. You can get a signal sometimes, but it's not reliable. The TV works fine. There's a washer, and bedding and towels are included.
You're about a mile from the local pub, The Locks Inn. It's well-known and does food. Beccles is three miles away. It's a nice little town on the river. There are shops, a few restaurants, and a train station there if you need it.
The coast is about five miles. Lowestoft has a sandy beach. Southwold is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes' drive. It's good for a day out.
If you're interested in birdwatching or history, the RSPB have a reserve at Minsmere, and there's Sutton Hoo. Norwich is about half an hour by car for proper shopping or a day at the castle.
