Riverside Retreat
Riverside Retreat is on the River Waveney in Beccles town centre. It's a detached building for two people. The view is the main thing. You look straight out at the river from the main room and the bedroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. One bedroom and one bathroom. The twin beds can be clipped together to make a double if you ask when you book. There's a small patio with a couple of chairs right by the water.
You're right in town, so shops, cafes, and pubs are a short walk. Beccles has a lido, which is an outdoor heated pool open in summer. You can get on the river for canoeing or paddleboarding from here.
For a day out, Southwold and the coast is about a twenty minute drive. The Broads are on your doorstep. Broads Authority has maps and information. National Trust Suffolk lists places like Dunwich Heath.
Facilities: parking on site, WiFi, TV, bedding and towels included. The building is in the owners' grounds but it's private. They have a couple of music studios on site that can be hired separately. No pets.
