This is Railway Cottage in Slaughterbridge. It's in Cornwall, sort of midway between Camelford and Delabole. Both towns are about a mile away.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is an ensuite wet room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. You can bring two dogs.
The garden out the back is on a slope, so it's in tiers. There's a few steps up to each level. The views from up there are really good, you can see right out towards Bodmin Moor and Brown Willy. There are three parking spaces.
Inside, it's a proper old cottage. You'll want to come in through the back door. The stairs are narrow cottage stairs, made of slate. They're a bit steep. Upstairs there's a double room and a bunk room. Downstairs there's another double with the ensuite.
There are two sitting rooms. One's got a wood burner in a big stone fireplace, the other is quieter if someone wants to get away. The kitchen's been updated but it still feels like part of the cottage.
For days out, Trebarwith Strand is three miles away. Good for a surf. Port Isaac is about ten minutes by car. Polzeath and Rock are within half an hour if you're after more surfing or somewhere to eat. The Eden Project is about a 25 minute drive. Tintagel Castle is close by too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, wifi, TV, and the wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. There's golf and horse riding nearby if that's your thing.
