Heath Cottage

Heath Cottage is in Boat of Garten, in the Cairngorms. It sleeps six, three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, one is an ensuite off the main bedroom.

It's a 4 Star place. It's modern and clean. The main room is open plan, kitchen and living area. There's a conservatory that leads into the back garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or dogs. We allow two pets.

The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.

You can walk into the village. There's a local pub. The Strathspey Steam Railway station is close by, you can hear the trains sometimes. It's a nice thing to do, a trip on the steam train. The RSPB Loch Garten Osprey Centre is a short drive for birdwatching.

Aviemore is about a ten minute drive. That's where you'll find bigger shops, more places to eat, and the ski centre. In the winter, you can drive up to the Cairngorm Mountain ski area. In summer, Loch Morlich is good for a swim or a paddle.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding and towels are included.
