Birch Corner
This is Birch Corner. It's a detached house about a mile and a half outside Aviemore, up in the Cairngorms. It's quiet where it is, but you're not far from things.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spacious and well looked after. There's an enclosed garden with a hot tub.
The kitchen is open plan. There's a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right there.
You've got a shop and a pub about a mile away. Aviemore itself is close, it's got the usual shops and places to eat. It's a proper activity centre. You can go skiing or snowboarding in winter. In the warmer months there's walking, cycling, watersports on the lochs. The Cairngorms National Park site has all the details.
Within half an hour you've got the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, the reindeer centre, and the Landmark adventure park in Carrbridge. Kingussie is about 15 minutes south. The Highland Wildlife Park and the Folk Museum are there. Useful link for that: Highland Folk Museum.
The stairs are fine. The garden is fully enclosed which is good if you've got dogs or small children. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
