Croftside House
Croftside House is on the edge of Aviemore. It's a detached house, so you've got your own space.
It sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's the main thing about it, really. No queueing for the shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The house is in a quiet little cul-de-sac. There's a garden that's fully enclosed, which is handy. You get a private hot tub and a sauna. There's a games room upstairs.
You can walk into Aviemore village in about ten minutes. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat there. For a bigger shop, the Co-op is just down the road.
You're right in the Cairngorms National Park. Loch Morlich is about ten minutes away by car. It's a good spot for a swim or messing about on the water. The Cairngorm Mountain ski area is a fifteen-minute drive. For walking, you can pick up trails straight from the door or drive a little way into Glenmore Forest.
The Highland Wildlife Park is about twenty minutes away. The Strathspey Steam Railway starts from Aviemore station. If you've got kids, the LLandmark Forest Adventure Park is close by too.
Facilities wise: it's got everything you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for three cars on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
