Stags Neuk
Stags Neuk is a detached house on the edge of Aviemore. It's in a quiet spot with trees behind it. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves.
It sleeps eight, across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's a house for being in, not a show home. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You can walk into the centre of Aviemore in about ten minutes. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants there. The closest ones are maybe a ten-minute walk away. They're fine. A supermarket is a short drive.
In terms of location, you're right in the Cairngorms National Park. You can see the mountains from the road. If you're here for walking, biking, or skiing in winter, it's a very straightforward base. There's storage in our garage for bikes and gear.
Things to do: the Cairngorm Mountain funicular railway is about a fifteen-minute drive. The reindeer herd is up there too. The Highland Wildlife Park near Kingussie is about twenty minutes away. For a family day out, the Landmark Park in Carrbridge is good, maybe twenty-five minutes.
The facilities are what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a woodburning stove for evenings. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking for two cars on the drive.
