Stags Neuk

Stags Neuk is in Aviemore, up in the Cairngorms. It's a detached house, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. Got a four star rating. It's a good size and it's just been done up, so everything's there and it's comfortable.

It's in a quiet spot at the end of a street. There's trees right behind the garden. You can walk into the centre of Aviemore in about ten minutes. There's shops, pubs, and places to eat there. The local shop and a pub are about 900 yards away.

The house itself is straightforward. Enclosed garden, patio, parking. There's a wood burning stove for the evenings. We've got a garage you can use for storing bikes or walking gear if you need it. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if required. No pets, sorry.

You're right in the Cairngorms National Park here. For walking, you're at the start of the Speyside Way. In winter, you're close to the ski slopes at Cairngorm Mountain. You can get the funicular railway up there in the summer too. The Cairngorms National Park Authority site has all the maps and latest information.

Within half an hour you've got the Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie, and the Landmark Adventure Park at Carrbridge for kids. The Moray coast with its beaches is about 40 minutes drive north if you fancy a change from the mountains.
