Woodford
Woodford is a detached house in Boat of Garten. It sleeps eight, four bedrooms, three bathrooms. The kitchen's big and opens into the dining space. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The stairs are fine. One of the bedrooms is downstairs with an en-suite shower room. It has French doors to the back garden. There's also a utility room with a washer and dryer, which is handy.
The garden's enclosed. There's a patio with a barbecue. The front garden is a good spot for a morning coffee. There's a bike store if you bring them, and an electric car charger.
Boat of Garten is quiet. There are two shops and a hotel with a bar about a hundred yards away. A really good restaurant is a short walk. The steam train stops at the station here. It's good for walking and cycling straight from the door.
Aviemore is about ten minutes by car. They've got more shops and restaurants there.
You're right in the Cairngorms National Park. For walking and cycling, Rothiemurchus Forest is nearby. The Cairngorm Mountain Railway and the Reindeer Centre are up the road towards the ski area. The RSPB site at Loch Garten is where the ospreys are. The Highland Wildlife Park is about half an hour away, near Kingussie.
Facilities: everything's included, bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets.
