Bonnie Doon
Bonnie Doon is a modern semi-detached cottage in Aviemore. It's for two people. There's one bedroom and a good-sized bathroom.
It's at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, about a ten minute walk from the town centre. You can walk in along a path.
The front looks out towards the mountains, but the Strathspey Steam Railway line runs behind the property. You'll hear the trains, not all that often.
There's a decent garden out the back, enclosed, with a barbecue. It's fairly private. We have a bike post if you bring bikes. You can bring one dog.
The kitchen is well-equipped and there's a dishwasher. Washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included. There's a travel cot if you need one.
Aviemore itself has shops and places to eat. The Cairngorms National Park is right there. In summer you've got walking and mountain biking. In winter it's skiing and snowboarding.
You're in a good spot for exploring. You can visit places like Carrbridge or Boat of Garten. If you like whisky, the Speyside distilleries aren't far. The Speyside Way walking route is close by.
