The Heathers
The Heathers is in Boat of Garten. It's a three-bedroom bungalow, so everything is on one level. It sleeps five. There's one bathroom. We accept one well-behaved dog.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not luxurious. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. The entrance and main rooms are wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom has a standard tub, so it might not suit everyone.
You're right in the village. The local pub and a couple of places to eat are a few minutes' walk away. There's a good golf course here too. The woods and some nice walks start just at the end of the road.
This is the Cairngorms, so it's all about being outside. You're about twenty minutes from the Cairngorm Mountain ski area and the funicular. Aviemore, which has more shops and things like that, is a ten-minute drive. The RSPB Loch Garten osprey reserve is very close. You can get on the Strathspey Steam Railway in the village itself.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring them. Parking is right outside.
