Uaine Cottage is in Aviemore. It's a detached house, so no neighbours through the walls. The garden is enclosed with trees around it, so it's quite private. There's a patio out there with a table and a charcoal BBQ.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. There's a separate toilet downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. We refurbished it in 2020, so it's all fairly new inside.
You're in a quiet part of town, near a bend in the River Spey. There's a footpath that leads into the centre. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the shops, pubs, and restaurants.
For things to do, you're right in the Cairngorms. In summer, you've got walking, cycling, and fishing. In winter, there's skiing and snowsports. Loch Morlich is about seven miles away. It's got a beach, though it's a bit different from a seaside one. It's a good spot.
You can drive to villages like Carrbridge or Boat of Garten quite easily. Inverness is about half an hour away by car if you need a bigger town.
Facilities wise: there's parking, a woodburning stove, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
